Hello, Capital DPC Members,
I have heard back from the ValleyCats, i spoke with a gentleman there on who we are, and what we wanted to do, they have agreed to allow us to setup on the first base side tent and table, they also agreed to waive the vendor cost if we purchase the porch for the evening which will include up to 40 tickets, soft drinks, pizza and some other items as well. I think that this would be a great networking event for us. I did speak to him about what day would be the busiest crowd and he stated that Sunday August 11th would be the best day for us as it would start at 5 pm.
I would like to make a recommendation that everyone bring one friend that may be interested in becoming a DPC member or someone who is just interested in who we are, if we use up all the tickets we would just have to purchase additional and they would be allowed into the porch area on the first base side.
Cost: $1250
I just would like an approval from the members to go ahead and make the purchase.
I will also be reaching out to control tower as i think that would be a great event to do as well. I think that one i can get sponsors to help us out with cost on that.
