No - 61% CORRECT
Depends on tree type - 6%
Depends on soil type - 12%
No. This is NOT an effective way to ground your transmitter. Even if you think it is and you somehow see some signal, you should not trust it as a general rule. A good ground (metal) makes a good locate.
